Studio 1 sits at the heart of Mowlem Studios — an open-plan space available for short-term bookings, ideal for photography, filming, and events. While the wider 2,400 sqft building is home to a long-term community of resident artists and designers across Studios 2–7, Studio 1 is the only space open for external hire.
This separation allows us to offer a truly focused and functional hire experience while being surrounded by the energy of a creative collective.

Studio 1 provides a 1,100 sqft blank canvas for art exhibitions, product launches, private events, workshops, and more. With high ceilings, wide access, a kitchenette, and open-plan layout, the space is designed for flexibility.
Our studio is ideal for fashion shoots, editorials, still life, commercials, and stop motion. Featuring an 80 sqft infinity cove, green screen, natural light, and full client facilities, Studio 1 is built for high-quality production.
Set Build & Scenic Design
We design and fabricate bespoke sets for shoots and activations — either in-house or at external venues. We offer art direction, scenic construction, and build services on request to complement your production.
